Work With Me
There are many ways into this work, and each woman arrives with her own experiences, questions and understanding of what she needs.
I work with women individually and in community, drawing on herbal medicine, embodied and eco-somatic practice, movement and ritual. These different approaches are brought together according to the nature of the work and what is unfolding.
You may find yourself at a significant threshold, moving through a period of change or wanting to deepen your relationship with your body and the living world. Sometimes there is no particular event or question that brings you here, simply a sense of curiosity or an awareness that something in your life is asking for attention.
We begin with what is present, allowing the work to take shape through conversation, practice and experience. There may be a need for rest or reflection, for a more active engagement with the body, or for ritual and ceremony to mark something meaningful.
Throughout, I hold a deep respect for each woman's own understanding and agency, and for the value of having space to explore what is happening in her life without needing to hurry towards an outcome.
The work is taking shape
Wild Earth Alchemy is growing, and with it the ways in which we can come together.
In time, there will be opportunities to gather, to explore the deeper passages of a woman's life and to enter practices that draw us closer to the wisdom of the body and the living world.
For now, this part of my work is quietly taking shape. If you'd like to hear about gatherings, new offerings and what is emerging, you're welcome to join my mailing list below.
Radical Return
A descent into rest, a return to the body
There is a place between waking and sleep. A threshold known to yogis, mystics and dreamers, where the edges of ordinary consciousness begin to soften. Radical Return is a deeply restorative practice rooted in the ancient architecture of Yoga Nidra.
You are guided slowly out of the noise of the everyday and into the quieter terrain beneath it. Breath softens. Awareness turns inward. The nervous system is given space to settle. The body becomes receptive, moving towards the still, dark centre where it remembers how to rest.
This is not a journey away from yourself. It is a slow descent towards what has been there all along.
Guided into a stillness so complete that the body begins its own quiet alchemy. Unwinding. Dissolving. Returning.
It is rest as rebellion.
Rest as ritual.
I hold the space and guide you through the practice. You have nothing to do but come lie in the dark with me.
Rose Gatherings
A gathering of women, held by the wisdom of Rosaceae.
Then:
We come close to the old ways of knowing here. The body as oracle. The earth as living presence. Plants as kin and teacher. The senses as pathways into what cannot always be reached through thought.
Rosa is invited among us, opening a path into the feminine arts and mysteries. Through scent, touch, movement, sound and stillness, we follow what is felt, what is remembered and what moves quietly beneath the surface.
There is space for beauty here, for pleasure and sensuality, for tenderness and wildness, for the sacred and the ordinary. We meet the elements, the seasons and the unseen currents that have always moved through our relationship with the living world.
Rosaceae holds the deeper thread. An ancient botanical family whose wisdom will unfold through these gatherings over time, not as something to master, but as a relationship to enter.
Nothing needs to be fully explained. Some things are understood through experience, through the body, through being there.
Threshold
There are moments in a woman’s life when she stands at the edge of who she has been, and something new asks to be claimed.
Threshold is my work with two of these crossings: the arrival of Sacred Blood and the passage into Eldership.
Sacred Blood marks an awakening into the mysteries of the female body. Yet the experience handed to so many girls is one of secrecy, embarrassment, inconvenience or something simply to be managed. I want to offer another inheritance.
One in which her blood is not dirty. Her body is not a problem. She is not entering womanhood through shame or fear. She is met with knowledge, reverence and wonder, held by women who can help her understand that what is awakening within her belongs to something powerful, ancient and entirely her own.
At the other threshold stands the woman entering her Elder years.
Here too, our culture has given us a diminished story. That ageing makes a woman less visible, less desirable, less relevant. That menopause is primarily a catalogue of symptoms and losses, and that what follows is somehow an ending.
I am interested in the opposite possibility.
That this is the time of gathering in. Of taking our seat. Of inhabiting the authority earned through a life lived. The Elder as leader, truth-teller, wisdom keeper and witness. A woman no longer required to measure her worth against youth, fertility or the gaze of others.
And across these two thresholds, something passes between generations.
The Maiden is welcomed towards her own female knowing. The Elder reclaims hers and becomes one of the women capable of holding that doorway open for those coming behind her.
This is the heart of Sacred Blood and Wise Woman.
Initiation. Remembrance. Authority.
